This summer, give your teen the opportunity to earn a globally recognized PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification at American Pro Diving Center. Our structured 5-day certification camp combines classroom learning, pool training, and open water dives to guide students through the complete scuba certification process.
Campers will learn essential dive knowledge, water safety, and underwater skills while building confidence, responsibility, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. All scuba equipment and professional instruction from certified PADI Instructors are included.
This program isn’t just a summer camp — it’s a real scuba certification and a lifetime achievement your teen will be proud of. Spots are limited to maintain small class sizes and personalized instruction.
The adventure begins in the classroom where students will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including equipment, safety, and how the underwater world works. In the afternoon, campers will complete a swim test and get properly fitted with their scuba gear so they’re comfortable and confident before entering the water.
Lunch: Pizza Party
After another engaging classroom session to build dive knowledge, students head to the pool for their first confined water training. Here they’ll practice basic scuba skills with their instructors in a controlled environment while experiencing the excitement of breathing underwater for the first time.
Lunch: Hamburgers and Hotdogs
Day three continues with classroom learning in the morning followed by more pool training in the afternoon. Students will refine their scuba skills, practice safety techniques, and gain confidence underwater as they prepare for their upcoming open water dives.
Lunch: Fried Chicken
Now it’s time to take those skills into the real world! Campers will travel to Hunter Springs, where they’ll complete their first open water training dives in the beautiful, crystal-clear spring. Students will experience real diving conditions while exploring the natural underwater environment.
Lunch: Publix Subs and Chips
The final day takes students to the breathtaking Devil’s Den prehistoric spring, one of Florida’s most famous dive sites. Here they’ll complete their final certification dives surrounded by ancient rock formations and clear blue water. By the end of the day, students will have earned their PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification and celebrate an unforgettable accomplishment.
