The PADI Mermaid™ course offers a unique opportunity to explore the underwater world through the lens of mermaid diving. Combining elements of freediving and synchronized swimming, this course is designed for water enthusiasts eager to experience the grace and beauty of mermaiding. Through knowledge development and water skill sessions, you’ll learn the fundamentals of mermaid diving, including breath control, efficient movement, and safety techniques.  

•Paragraph 2: Guided by certified PADI Mermaid Instructors, you’ll engage in at least two water sessions that build upon basic mermaid skills, introducing more dynamic movements and techniques. Whether you’re new to underwater exploration or looking to expand your aquatic abilities, the PADI Mermaid course provides a supportive environment to develop your skills and confidence.

Important Information

To enroll in the PADI Mermaid course, participants must be at least 10 years old, able to swim at least 50 meters without swim aids, and capable of floating comfortably at the surface for 5 minutes. The course includes knowledge development sessions and confined water training, focusing on safety, equipment usage, and mermaid diving techniques. No prior snorkeling, skin diving, or freediving experience is required.   

The course is structured to accommodate various learning styles, with eLearning options available for the theoretical components. Participants will need a mask, snorkel, fins, and a mermaid tail (monofin). Your instructor can assist in selecting appropriate equipment. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a PADI Mermaid certification, recognizing your proficiency in mermaid diving skills.
