Important Information

The Nitrox Enriched Air Diver course is available to PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers aged 12 and above. We offer two main options: 

  • Add-On Option: For just $170, enhance your existing dive trip or course with the Nitrox certification. This includes the online class, two Nitrox tanks, instructor guidance, and your certification card. 
  • Stand Alone Option: At $200, this package includes e-learning, analyzing of tanks on-site with an instructor, and certification card. It’s perfect for those seeking a comprehensive experience.  

We also offer special promotions:

  • Free Certification: Receive a free Nitrox certification with the purchase of qualifying dive gear packages (BCD, regulator, and dive computer).
  • Dive Computer Special: Purchase any qualifying dive computer from our retail store and get 50% off your Nitrox class.

What is Enriched Air Nitrox?

Enriched Air Nitrox is a breathing gas with a higher oxygen content than regular air, allowing for longer dive times and shorter surface intervals. 

Who can enroll in the Nitrox course?

Any certified PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver aged 12 or older can enroll in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course. 

How does the e-learning process work?

You can complete the online portion of the course at your own pace using your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Once completed, you’ll join us for the practical application session. 

Can I combine this course with other certifications?

Yes, the Nitrox course can be combined with other specialty courses or the PADI Advanced Open Water Course for added benefits. 

What happens upon completion of this class?

Upon Successful completion of this class you earn a PADI international Open Water Diver certification that never expires:

Age 10 and 11 year olds receives a PADI Junior Open Water Diver card which is labeled qualified to dive with parent or legal guardian or PADI Professional and must not exceed 40 feet in depth.

Age 12 to 14 year olds receives a PADI Junior Open Water Diver card which is labeled qualified to dive when accompanied by another certified diver who is of legal age or a PADI Pro.

Age 15 and older receives a PADI Open Water Diver card. Note- You can upgrade your Junior Open Water Diver certification card at age 15 or older so you no longer have age-related restrictions while scuba diving.
