(Seasonal) Homosassa Dive tours are just during the winter months and have typically less people, boats and traffic in the area. Some places we go you can even stand if your not comfortable snorkeling with just 3 to 5 feet of water depth. Our guides are in the water with you and the boats are comfortably warm with free extras included in this trip.
Snorkel only - The Homosassa Manatees tour has less people, boats and boat traffic in the area. The visibility is typically crystal clear making the Homosassa Manatee tour the best for snorkelers. A smaller and shallower river, some areas of the river are only four feet deep, which is great with kids, the novice snorkeler, or even just to see the manatee up close. With less boat traffic, enjoy a peaceful swim with these gentle giants. Nature at its best!
The Homosassa Springs Florida Manatee swim like all of our guided tours, is safe and fun, from the experienced diver to the willing non-swimmer. Our highly trained Divemasters and Instructors guide you to the best locations for viewing the manatees and also help you to interact with the manatee in a manner that is safe and fun for both you and the Manatees. The Divemaster also videotapes your trip and a DVD is available to remember your encounter at Homosassa Springs Florida..
The Homosassa manatee tour is seasonal. Generally run in the Cooler months, from November to March. On the tour our boats are enclosed and heated with comfort. This swim with the manatee can be combine with any of our afternoon Dive or Snorkel Tours to make a full day of fun. And if it is out of season for the Homosassa tour, we have the Crystal River all year.
