As a more diverse and serine option, customers that have already been introduced to the Bays geographical features such as Buzzard Island, Banana Island, Parker Island, and the Salt Keys (All wildlife sanctuaries protected by Florida Fish and Wildlife) on the morning manatee tour, can go on to explore the area at the slower pace of a Canoe expedition in the afternoon.  The options are to go with or without a guide, depending upon the customers preference, but either way, expect to see some of the following local favorites; manatees, storks, ospreys, bald eagles, great blue herons, cormorants, anhinga, dolphins, otters, and turtles.

The pure clarity of the water here allows visitors to encounter fish and turtles, without ever leaving the comfort of a dry canoe.  The American Pro Diving Center staff takes care of the transportation of the canoe, and guides the tour.  By first leading customers upstream against the gentle half knot current, the adventure guide and the paddling participants can relax on the drift back down. On the drift back enjoy learning about the rivers ecosystem, spring system, and culture of the area.
