As a more diverse and serine option, customers that have already been introduced to the Bay’s geographical features such as Buzzard Island, Banana Island, Parker Island, and the Salt Keys (All wildlife sanctuaries protected by Florida Fish and Wildlife) on the morning manatee tour, can go on to explore the area at the slower pace of a Canoe expedition in the afternoon. The options are to go with or without a guide, depending upon the customers’ preference, but either way, expect to see some of the following local favorites; manatees, storks, ospreys, bald eagles, great blue herons, cormorants, anhinga, dolphins, otters, and turtles. |
